Hello, I'm Levente.

I'm a portrait and editorial photographer in Tenerife. I photograph people: on their own or in pairs, in the studio and out on the island.

White is the English translation of my surname, Fehér. It turned out to be a good name for the work: monochrome, controlled light, grey studio walls and plenty of empty space around the person in the frame.

My sessions are slow and deliberate. I care about light that shapes a face instead of flattening it, about posing that looks effortless because it was carefully built, and about the small, human moment that happens when someone forgets to perform.

Most of all, I care that you feel comfortable. A lot of the people I photograph arrive nervous. My job is to take that away, so that what's left in the photograph is you.
